The 60th Annual Academy Awards ceremony was held on April 11, 1988 at the Shrine Auditorium. Best Picture nominations included The Last Emperor (winner), Broadcast News, Fatal Attraction, Hope and Glory, and Moonstruck. The Best Actor Oscar went to Michael Douglas in Wall Street and the Best Actress Oscar went to Cher in Moonstruck.
