48th Academy Awards

The 48th Annual Academy Awards ceremony was held on March 29, 1976 at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. Best Picture nominations included One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest (winner), Barry Lyndon, Dog Day Afternoon, Jaws, and Nashville. The Best Actor Oscar went to Jack Nicholson in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and the Best Actress Oscar went to Louise Fletcher in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.
