47th Academy Awards

The 47th Annual Academy Awards ceremony was held on April 8, 1975 at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. Best Picture nominations included The Godfather, Part II (winner), Chinatown, Lenny, The Conversation, and The Towering Inferno. The Best Actor Oscar went to Art Carney in Harry and Tonto and the Best Actress Oscar went to Ellen Burstyn in Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore.
