43rd Academy Awards

The 43rd Annual Academy Awards ceremony was held on April 15, 1971 at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. Best Picture nominations included Patton (winner), Airport, Five Easy Pieces, Love Story, and MASH. The Best Actor Oscar went to George C. Scott in Patton (which he refused) and the Best Actress Oscar went to Glenda Jackson in Women in Love.
