45th Academy Awards

The 45th Annual Academy Awards ceremony was held on March 27, 1973 at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. Best Picture nominations included The Godfather (winner), Cabaret, Deliverance, Sounder, and The Emigrants. The Best Actor Oscar went to Marlon Brando in The Godfather (which he refused) and the Best Actress Oscar went to Liza Minnelli in Cabaret.
