78th Academy Awards
The 78th Annual Academy Awards ceremony was held on March 5, 2006 at the Kodak Theater (later named The Dolby Theatre). Best Picture nominations included Crash (winner), Brokeback Mountain, Capote, Good Night and Good Luck, and Munich. The Best Actor Oscar went to Philip Seymour Hoffman in Capote and the Best Actress Oscar went to Reese Witherspoon in Walk The Line.
