20th Academy Awards

The 20th Annual Academy Awards ceremony was held on March 20, 1948 at the Shrine Auditorium. Best Picture nominations included Gentleman’s Agreement (winner), Crossfire, Great Expectations, Miracle on 34th Street, and The Bishop’s Wife. The Best Actor Oscar went to Ronald Colman in A Double Life and the Best Actress Oscar went to Loretta Young in The Farmer's Daughter.
