61st Academy Awards

The 61st Annual Academy Awards ceremony was held on March 29, 1989 at the Shrine Auditorium. Best Picture nominations included Rain Man (winner), Dangerous Liaisons, Mississippi Burning, The Accidental Tourist, and Working Girl. The Best Actor Oscar went to Dustin Hoffman in Rain Man and the Best Actress Oscar went to Jodie Foster in The Accused.
